The Greenwood Tree

Dedicate a leaf on the Greenwood Tree and make a memory that endures.

The Greenwood Tree at New Place

Making a lasting memory

The Greenwood Tree, a specially commissioned sculpture by local craftsman Adam Barrett, commands a prime position in the Great Garden at Shakespeare's New Place. It brings to mind the Forest of Arden in As You Like It, which was written shortly after the Shakespeare family moved into New Place.

This beautiful work of art gives you the opportunity to create an enduring memory in this special place with all of its creative and historic associations.

Create a unique tribute

Each individually engraved leaf with its personal inscription is a monument to those who chose it. The entire work is a lasting symbol of all the support given by people like you to help the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust care for Shakespeare's legacy and share his stories.

Dedicating one of just 300 Greenwood Tree leaves is a very personal, original way of showing your support for our work or your affection for Shakespeare.

Your dedication could be a lasting memory to a loved one, marking a special occasion or anything you wish.
