Presented by Wendy Freeman with a star turn from Wendy Cope. Local poets and poetry fans are invited to read their own work or any verse they choose.

Any writer from the town and district is welcome to take part as is anyone who would like to read poems they like or those who just want to listen. Our Writer in Residence, Wendy Cope, will also be there to give a special guest star turn!

Anyone wanting to read should arrive around 7.00pm and let the organisers know of their interest.

Venue: Wolfson Hall, The Shakespeare Centre, Henley Street, time 7.30pm

Concessions: 10% discounts for Friends of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. £2.00 off full ticket price for under 18s, students and registered unemployed (proof of eligibility required on the door). Half price student tickets are available on the door prior to the performance.
