Shakespeare's Birthday Celebrations
Celebrate Shakespeare's birthday in Stratford-upon-Avon!
23-25 April 2015
Stratford’s tradition of the Birthday Celebration dates back more than 100 years and brings together residents and visitors in a vibrant mix of pageantry and performance. This year's grand Birthday Procession takes place in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday 25 April, winding through the historic spine of Stratford and finishing with the laying of flowers on Shakespeare’s grave at Holy Trinity Church.
Here at Shakespeare's family homes we'll be celebrating from 23-25 April with a variety of special activities, including a free balloon and slice of cake for every visitor on Saturday 25 April (while stocks last).
