Activities take place from 12pm - 4pm daily and are included in admission, so if you already have a valid ticket you can come along for free!

Shakespeare's Birthplace

Tudor Glove Making

Come and learn more about the glove-making process in our hourly displays, with touch and feel examples and smelly boxes for the very brave to see what tanning leather was really like!

Anne Hathaway's Cottage & Gardens

Storytelling with the Yarnsmith of Norwich (30 & 31 May only)

Enjoy storytelling and Tudor tales every hour from 10am - 5pm in the garden. Suitable for all ages.

Mary Arden's Farm

Woolly Week

It's shearing time down on the farm! Come and join the fun and get involved with all things woolly with traditional sheep shearing and cool craft demonstrations daily.

From 12-4pm each day, make your own woolly sheep to take home with you.

Hall's Croft

What, Dress'd?

Get ready for the day as the wealthy Jacobeans did! Make your own ointment pot, try on your homemade ruff and lavish yourself with our decorative Jacobean costumes.

Harvard House

New Worlds

Explore the world of travel in Shakespeare’s time and find out if you would have survived the dangers of setting off in search of the New World.

Don't miss our fabulous family trails that bring each of the houses to life with extra puzzles and treasures hunts for children of all ages.

Find the mice hiding around Shakespeare's Birthplace, follow the Green Man trail at Mary Arden's Farm, identify the scents of spring in our smelly boxes at Anne Hathaway's Cottage, help diagnose Dr Hall's angry patient at Hall's Croft and spot the cheeky Jack-O-Lents that have snuck into Harvard House!

Discover all this and more at Shakespeare's family homes this May.
