Collections in the Spotlight

A chance to see special items from our Collections

01 February - 30 September 2015

Ever wanted to learn more about the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s collections? Collections in the Spotlight gives you a chance to see temporary displays of objects that are usually tucked away in our archives.

You can find out even more about the objects on display in special 15 minute talks held throughout the year. Keep checking back for more details!

Collections in the Spotlight Objects and Talks

February
Hall's Croft - a gentleman's razor dating back to the 1600s (talks Tues & Thurs at 2pm)

March
Hall's Croft - a copy of The English Housewife, an early printed book (talks Tues & Thurs at 2pm)

From April to September there will also be a display of items at Hall's Croft, including John Hall's signet ring and seal impression, a urine flask and a copy of Doctor Hall’s observations.

This activity is included in admission and all houses tickets are valid for 12 months, so you can really make the most of the Summer holidays with free return visits!
