Gain valuable experience and learn new skills with a work experience placement at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
460 work experience hours were given to the SBT in 2019
Work experience placements usually last one or two weeks and are available at the Shakespeare Houses or with our various support departments including Education, Development, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Hospitality and Retail.
What you do with us during your placement depends on you, your interests and your requirements. You could spend the full placement immersed in a single team or we could develop a more varied programme covering a range of experiences.
Placements start with a full introduction to the Trust, so you can meet the colleagues you’ll be working with and be shown what you’ll be getting involved in. You’ll be given support and guidance throughout your placement and there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions, learn and develop.
In 2019, we hosted 16 work experience students across the Trust, from Finance to Visitor Engagement and Education to Marketing
