Interactive, illustrated sessions for literature and language students in Stratford-upon-Avon

Packed full of useful information these popular interactive, illustrated literature/language sessions cover all aspects of Shakespeare's plays and can be tailored for particular exam specifications.

Our experts are able to deliver sessions on any of Shakespeare’s plays. If required, arrangements can be made to discuss your session with one of the team in advance of your visit. Please enquire when booking.

These 90 minute talks focus on:

  • Structure, form, and language
  • Social, cultural, and theatrical contexts
  • Stagecraft
  • Themes
  • Alternative interpretations
  • Influences/sources
  • Critical voices
  • Function and effect of writing
  • Informed personal responses
  • Selected extracts
  • Stage history.

Sessions can be booked all year round, Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm and take place onsite in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Price: £10 per person with a minimum charge of £150.

Maximum capacity per talk is currently 33 (students plus staff). Larger groups would be split across more than one session.

One member of staff is free with every 10 students.

A visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace can be arranged for an additional charge.
