Artsmark Partnership & Arts Award
We're proud to support these unique qualifications that help young people to grow as artists and art leaders.
Artsmark is the nationally recognised mark of excellence and creative quality standard for schools, accredited by Arts Council England.
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is part of the Artsmark Partnership programme which is an endorsed network of arts and cultural organisations that can support education settings on their Artsmark journey to embed arts and culture across the curriculum.

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is also a registered Arts Award Centre and Supporter.
We have a range of activities and opportunities that offer support in delivering Arts Award accreditations using our existing KS2 workshops as well bespoke programmes.
So far over 2,000 children have already achieved accredited Arts Awards with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
One of our most recent Arts Award programmes involved working with DESIblitz Arts in four Birmingham schools to deliver a creative arts session based on Truck Art with Shakespeare's influence on Bollywood providing the inspiration.
Thank you for inviting us to take part in the DESIblitz project! The art on the bus was totally breathtaking and the children were impressed at the level of commitment the artist devoted to complete the art work. Being from a range of ethnic backgrounds, our pupils have often watched Bollywood movies with their families but never realised that they were adaptations of famous Shakespeare plays. Their realisation that Shakespeare is not just a national but an international writer was worth it's weight in gold. Finally, the artwork year 6 produced using block printing is fantastic- I love the final piece.
