Here at Shakespeare's Birthplace we celebrate Shakespeare every day but on his 450th birthday we wanted to do something extra special. Some of us guides and actors are already in period costume and so we decided to offer our younger visitors the chance to join our Tudor party and dress up for the occasion. Martin and Harriet from Bedworth looked brilliant, learnt facts about Shakespeare and wished William Shakespeare a happy birthday while standing by the house where he spent his own childhood. It was great to meet them.
