We’re working with volunteers from our local Decorative and Fine Arts Society (STRADFAS) to create two beautiful new Tudor costumes and show visitors to Hall’s Croft an example of the kind of garments that might have been worn by Shakespeare’s daughter and granddaughter; Susannah and Elizabeth.
The costumes are really starting to come together at an exciting pace, and here you can see Kay preparing a bodice and sleeve.
We’ll keep you posted on the progress of the project so keep checking back for more updates!
