Visitors to Mary Arden's Farm are invited to watch a display of 16th Century table manners as our Tudors sit down to enjoy a home made lunch every day.
Up until now, our guests have only be able to 'feast' with their eyes, but due to popular demand we've developed a Tudor-inspired menu in our cafe to give visitors the opportunity to sample some dishes for themselves!
Each day a Tudor favourite will be offered as a special, with delicacies such as mutton with dates, figs and raisins; chicken with almonds; frimenty; fish chewitts (which taste much nicer than they sound!) and the ever popular pottage.
So if you're looking for something new to tickle your taste-buds, be sure to pop into the cafe during your next visit to the farm!
