Shakespeare’s plays were full of music and although no record of the instrumental music survives, his lyrics have inspired modern day musicians to come up with striking contemporary settings. We celebrate just such a musical collaboration with a unique performance of Juno’s blessing from The Tempest. Actor Martin Smith sings it, the words are by William Shakespeare and the music is composed by renowned singer/songwriter Johnny Coppin – we are very grateful to him for allowing us to use his beautiful melody.
