Last week, some of our team attended a Volunteers Fair at Worcester University to promote volunteering opportunities at the Trust. There were a range of local companies at the event, including fellow heritage organisation The National Trust.
The event was a real success, and we had the opportunity to speak to lots of students, including some who were interested in building their confidence and presentation skills through volunteering in the houses, as well as some archaeology students who were interested in the history of the Trust and our Conservation roles.
With such a great variety of volunteer roles at the Trust, from farming and living history to archives or retail, we have lots to offer to potential volunteers. There was plenty of interest from the students we spoke to so we hope to welcome some of them into the team soon.
