New for 2025 - Residents can explore the life, works and times of William Shakespeare for free across the Shakespeare family homes.
The Residents Go Free offer is available to anyone who lives in the CV37 postcode and gives unlimited, free access to Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s New Place throughout the year.
Special ticketed events, including Candlelit Christmas, are not included in the offer.
How to Access Your Residents Go Free Tickets
Tickets are available for residents on arrival at the Shakespeare family homes included in the offer throughout the day. You can also pre-book your visit using the booking link below.
Please note: you only need to select a time slot for your visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace. You can visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s New Place at any time with your ticket.
To take advantage of the offer residents must show any of the following forms of ID on arrival to prove residency in the CV37 postcode:
● Any utility bill (digital or hard copy)
● A valid UK Driving Licence
Where possible each visitor should provide proof of residence, for families with young children we will accept ID from parent/guardian only.
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust reserves the right to refuse entry without a valid form of ID or proof of residency.
