Spring is here and we are looking forward to welcoming you to explore the Shakespeare story with us.

With the reopening of Shakespeare’s New Place just in time for Easter, you will be able to explore three of Shakespeare’s family homes and immerse yourself in their world while exploring the Women Who Made Shakespeare.

From hands-on object handling to special artist-led workshops and live performances, there is something for the whole family to enjoy.

Join the team at Events From History, who will join us to celebrate The Women Who Made Shakespeare. Enjoy a range of performances featuring some of Shakespeare’s most iconic female characters.

Anne Hathaway's Cottage

Nurture in Nature - Experience our series of family-friendly activities and enjoy making and learning something unique using items found in nature.

From wildflower seed bombs and seasonal flower crowns to rain guages and junk model wings, come and enjoy getting closer to nature with your little one.

Nurture in Nature takes place at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage every Wednesday during the Warwickshire School Holidays from 11am –3pm.

Nature Explorer Backpacks - Get closer to Nature at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage

Pick up a Nature Explorer Backpack at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and discover all sorts of items to explore the cottage garden of young Anne.

Our Nature Explorer Backpacks are included in your admission and are exclusively available at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.

There is a limited number of backpacks available and will be issued on a first come first served basis to children aged between 4-11 years old.

Shakespeare’s New Place

Sundays at New Place - Enjoy artist led workshops on selected Sundays during the school holidays

From poetry writing and circus skills to exploring the art of screen printing and calligraphy, come and experience a host of hands-on activities in the beautiful gardens of Shakespeare’s New Place.

You can enjoy these series of workshops from 12-4 pm on selected Sundays throughout the Warwickshire School holidays.

Creative Explorer Backpacks - Be inspired in Shakespeare’s house

Pick up a Creative Explorer Backpack and discover the place where William Shakespeare himself wrote many of his most well known plays.

Our Creative Explorer Backpacks are included in your admission and are exclusively available at Shakespeare’s New Place.
