Grand Opening of the Garden Café at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage

This is your invitation to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our new Garden Café, in the shadow of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the local community of Shottery, as well as visitors from across the world to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. At the grand opening you’ll be able to enjoy a host of special activities, including face painting for the little ones to live music by a steel pan band.

Special Launch Offer: enjoy a complimentary slice of cake or a delicious sweet treat from our tray bake selection with every hot drink purchased. Vegan and gluten free options available.

Grand Opening Event Times

10:00 - 13:00

Delight the little ones with colourful face painting.

10:00 / 11:00 / 12:00

Interactive storytelling sessions for children, with each session lasting 30 minutes. Hear a magical retelling of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

13:00 - 16:00

Enjoy the vibrant sounds of a steel pan band throughout the day as they play in the garden area.

The events and activities are free for all café customers.
