Our adult leisure courses are designed to spark lively conversation and enhance appreciation of Shakespeare’s works, life and times.
Set in historic sites across Stratford-upon-Avon, everyone is welcome to our adult leisure courses: from Shakespeare enthusiasts to teachers and lifelong learners with a desire to enhance their knowledge and enjoy good company.
Discover more about selected plays and hear from passionate and accessible speakers on a wide range of Shakespeare-related topics, from theatre history to social history, and beyond.
Discuss theatre productions and meet with theatre practitioners to learn more about how Shakespeare's plays move from the page to the stage.
Our May Living Shakespeare course includes optional theatre performances of Much Ado About Nothing and Titus Andronicus.

Dr Abigail Rokison-Woodall (The Shakespeare Institute); Nia Gwynne (RSC Shakespeare roles include: Tamora; Apemantus; Goneril, Doll Tearsheet); Dr Darren Freebury-Jones (SBT); Dr Jennifer Waghorn (SBT); Dr Nick Walton (SBT) and other guests.
