This spring the garden at Shakespeare’s Birthplace will play host to a series of special activities to explore the continued legacy of William Shakespeare and his family.
On arrival via our new temporary entrance on Henley Street, you'll be taken directly into the garden of Shakespeare’s Birthplace, where you’ll be able to enjoy everything on offer.

From hands-on object handling to special table talks, you’ll have the opportunity to explore more about the life and times of William Shakespeare and his family.
Our family trail will help younger visitors explore the fascinating female characters in Shakespeare’s plays and with traditional garden games on the lawn you can relax and have fun before heading inside and exploring Shakespeare’s Birthplace.

During the weekends and on special days, enjoy spectacular performances focusing on Shakespeare’s female characters from the team from Events from History.
All this, and more, is included in your Shakespeare Birthplace and Shakespeare Story ticket.
