Adventure awaits this Summer at Shakespeare's family homes.
With the launch of our new multi-house Family Trail, inspired by the 'Women Who Made Shakespeare', as well as new hands-on activities inspired by nature, artists workshops and live performances there's plenty for the whole family to enjoy all summer long.
All activities are included in your 12 month admission.

Family Trail - New for Summer 2024, discover the remarkable stories of the women in William Shakespeare’s family who were born, grew up and lived in our properties.
Who was the only family member to live in all 3 of our homes?
Which house was home to 5 of Shakespeare’s family members at the same time?
Pick up a leaflet and find out more at any one of our 3 family homes.
Our Family Trail is suitable for children 4+ and is included in your admission to Shakespeare’s family homes.
Enjoy daily from 27 July – 3 November, included in your admission.
Object Handling - get hands-on with history
During your visit, our friendly team will be available to showcase a selection of objects from our collection. This hands-on activity will help you explore history and find out more about life in Shakespeare’s time.

Nature Explorer Backpacks - Get closer to Nature at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage
Pick up a Nature Explorer Backpack at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and discover all sorts of items to explore the cottage garden of young Anne.
Our Nature Explorer Backpacks are included in your admission and are exclusively available at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.
There is a limited number of backpacks available and will be issued on a first come first served basis to children aged between 4-11 years old.

Nurture in Nature - Make and take family activities from the Cottage garden
Pop your welly boots on and head to Anne Hathaway Cottage to get stuck in making something special, using recycled materials and things found in Anne’s garden.
Perfect for children 4+ accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian.
Nurture in Nature takes place at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage every Wednesday during the Warwickshire School Holidays from 11am –3pm.

Creative Explorer Backpacks - Be inspired in Shakespeare’s house
Pick up a Creative Explorer Backpack and discover the place where William Shakespeare himself wrote many of his most well known plays.
Our Creative Explorer Backpacks are included in your admission and are exclusively available at Shakespeare’s New Place.
There is a limited number of backpacks available and will be issued on a first come first served basis to children aged between 4-11 years old.

Sundays at New Place - Enjoy artist led workshops on selected Sundays during the school holidays
From poetry writing and circus skills to exploring the art of screen printing and calligraphy, come and experience a host of hands-on activities in the beautiful gardens of Shakespeare’s New Place.
You can enjoy these series of workshops from 12-4 pm on selected Sundays throughout the Warwickshire School holidays.
Hidden Voices Exhibition – Our new exhibition celebrates the lives of the Women Who Made Shakespeare
NEW for 2024, explore the stories and lives of the remarkable women who lived and worked together at Shakespeare’s New Place, in our latest exhibition, Hidden Voices.
This exhibition uses objects from our collection, including artefacts from the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
Discover the impact of these women, as mothers, wives, widows, businesswomen and managers of a grand and busy household at New Place.
