A special performance Exploring the Women Who Made Shakespeare

Step into the world of Antonia, an ambitious young actor in 17th-century London, as she discovers a newly printed copy of Shakespeare’s First Folio. In a world where women are forbidden from gracing the stage, Antonia dares to rehearse Shakespeare’s female characters, finding her voice and grappling with her role both onstage and in society.
Audiences have been captivated by Beckis Cooper's dynamic performance, bringing characters such as Lady Macbeth, Beatrice, and Juliet to life in an intimate, historic setting with rave reviews.
Beckis now comes to Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare’s New Place for a special performance.
Whether you’re a Shakespeare aficionado or simply looking for an unforgettable experience, Unversed... is a must-see experience.
Tickets £20 per person, including the opportunity to explore Shakespeare’s New Place before the performance. A paid bar will be available for refreshments.
Welcome from 6.30pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm.
"Beckis was passionate, funny, and inspiring – a wonderful tribute to Shakespeare’s women."
A beautiful performance in an extraordinary place where history and theatre collide.
